Section IX. SINCGARS ANTENNA INSTALLATION
NOTE
Procedures for installing antennas are the same for both sides of
vehicle. Right side shown.
9-1. Using antenna mounting bracket (3) as template, locate and mark hole position (2) in rear wall (4).
9-2. Locate and mark hole positions (1) in rear wall (4).
9-3. Remove antenna mounting bracket (3) from rear wall (4).
9-4. Drill 1.375-in. diameter hole (2) in rear wall (4).
9-5. Drill three 0.343-in. diameter holes (1) in rear wall (4).
9-6. Remove paint from vicinity of three holes (1) and three holes in rear of antenna mounting
bracket (3).
9-7. Apply antiseize compound to vicinity of three holes (1) and rear of antenna mounting bracket (3).
