Section XXII. DVE PAN AND TILT MODULE (PTM) MOUNT ASSEMBLY PREPARATION

AND PILLAR MOUNT INSTALLATION

22-1. Remove four existing screws (3) and existing center windshield retainer (2) from center windshield

frame (1). Retain three screws (3).

22-2. Using PTM mount assembly as template, locate, mark, and drill four 0.391-in. holes (5) on A-frame

pillar flange (6).

22-3. Enlarge hole (7) to 0.391 in. on center windshield frame (1).

22-4. Install one rivet nut (4) on center windshield frame (1) and four rivet nuts (4) on A-frame pillar

flange (6).

22-5. Install PTM A-pillar mount (8) on center windshield frame (1) with three existing screws (3).
