COMSEC

The Wire Line Adapter, HYX-57, when used in conjunction with a

KY-57, provides secure radio remote operation capability.

COMPONENTS

The Wire Line Adapter consists of local and remote units, which are

connected by field wire for operation.

CABLING

Figure 4-31, below, shows the set up for remote operation of a

SINCGARS radio using an HYX-57 and KY-57
