Section XI. SINCGARS ANTENNA INSTALLATION
NOTE
This procedure applies to vehicles without existing antennas, and
to either left or right side of vehicle.
11-1. Using antenna mounting bracket (3) as template, locate and mark hole position (2) in rear wall (4).
11-2. Locate and mark hole positions (1) in rear wall (4).
11-3. Remove antenna mounting bracket (3) from rear wall (4).
11-4. Drill 1.375-in. diameter hole (2) in rear wall (4).
11-5. Drill three 0.343-in. diameter holes (1) in rear wall (4).
11-6. Remove paint from vicinity of three holes (1) and three holes in antenna mounting bracket (3).
11-7. Apply antiseize compound to vicinity of three holes (1) and rear of antenna mounting bracket (3).
