Fabricate ground strap (34) from 6-in. length of braided wire and two terminal lugs.

Install ground strap (34) on left overhead rail (9) with capscrew (16) and two lockwashers (15).
8-20.
Locate, mark, and drill 0.281-in. diameter hole (31) in antenna overcab mount (6).
8-21.
Remove paint from vicinity of antenna overcab mount hole (31). Apply antiseize compound as required.
8-22.
Install ground strap (34) on antenna overcab mount (6) with capscrew (35), two lockwashers (15),
washer (32), and nut (33).
