3-17. Install ground strap (38) on stud (35) of CPU (34) with existing wingnut (39), lockwasher (40), and
washer (41).
3-18. Secure ground strap (38) to stud (27) of integrated rack (4) with washer (37) and nut (36).
3-19. Connect P1 connector (52) from Serial Interface Adapter Device (SIAD) (54) to J3 connector (49) on
CPU (34).
3-20. Connect W1P2 connector of W1 cable (51) to J1 connector (50) on CPU (34). Route W1 cable (51)
through access cut out (44) of integrated rack (4) to top of integrated rack (4).
3-21. Connect W2P1 connector of W2 cable (53) to J4 connector (48) on CPU (34). Route W2 cable
through access cut out (44) of integrated rack (4) towards FBCB2 display unit (43). Connect in
step 3-33.
3-22. Route W3N cable (55) from SIAD (54) through access cut out (44) of integrated rack (4). Connect to
Vehicular Amplifier Adapter (VAA) in step 3-40.
3-23. Secure CPU (34) to CPU isolation kit (42) with two locking devices (45).
