 | TB 9-2320-387-35-3 Section XVII. CABLES INSTALLATION NOTE If soft top has been installed, roll back to allow clearance for routing of antenna cable in steps 17-2 through 17-5. Lay out all cables in their approximate positions before clamps are installed. This will minimize the length, and ensure all slack is taken out of all cables from front of vehicle to rear. Excess slack in all cables will be stored under EPLRS mount assembly. It may be necessary to drill one 0.281-in. diameter hole in left side of antenna base bracket for antenna cable clamp. (Refer to figure 5-62.) 17-1. Locate, mark, and drill 0.281-in. diameter hole (8) in left overhead rail (6). 17-2. Route antenna cable (9) through hole (5) in overcab mount (1) and antenna base bracket (3), and connect to antenna (2). 17-3. Install grommet (4) in antenna base bracket (3) and overcab mount (1). 17-4. Secure antenna cable (9) to left overhead rail (6) and antenna base bracket (3) with two loop clamps (10), two capscrews (7), two lockwashers (11), and two nuts (12). existing screw (13). 17-6.
