Section XXIX. PAN AND TILT MODULE (PTM) CONTROL MOUNTING BRACKET INSTALLATION

NOTE

SINCGARS mount and amp guard share existing mounting

hardware with PTM control mounting bracket.

29-1. Remove SINCGARS mount and amp guard if necessary. (Refer to chapter 5, section VIII.)

29-2. Using existing hole (5) and PTM control mounting bracket (1) as template, locate, mark, and drill

two 0.281-in. holes (8) on integrated rack (2).

NOTE

SINCGARS mount and amp guard must be in place before PTM

mount is installed.

29-3. Install SINCGARS mount and amp guard if removed. (Refer to chapter 5, section VIII.)

29-4. Install PTM control mounting bracket (1) on integrated rack (2) with two capscrews (10), four

washers (7), two locknuts (6), and existing screw (3), two lockwashers (4), and nut (9).
