S802 is placed at the 120V position, and
p o w e r cord plug P801 is connected to a
nominal 115-volt power source. Under
t h i s condition, the two primary windings
o f the power transformer are connected
in parallel, as shown in B, figure 40. Fuse
F 8 0 1 protects the equipment from over-
load. The secondary output of transformer
T 8 0 1 is filtered by capacitors C801 and
C 8 0 2 (A, fig. 40). The filtered nominal
115-volt output is available at front-panel
r e c e p t a c l e J801 for connection through
