ITEM ACTION REMARKS REMOVAL a.   Mounting   plate Remove  and  retain. Refer  to  paragraph  15-20 assembly  (2) for  removal  of  mounting plate  assembly. b.  Battery  tray Set  upside  down  on  work  surface  with subassembly  (1) left  side  toward  you. c.   Wire(s)   (2)   and   tiedown Use  long  nose  pliers  and  soldering  equip- straps  (1) ment.  Desolder  both  ends  of  defective wire  (s)  to  be  replaced.  Cut,  remove,  and discard  tiedown  strap(s)  along  wire(s).
