Flat  tip  screwdriver Torque  wrench Torque   screwdriver Soldering  kit Solder Alcohol ITEM ACTION REMARKS REMOVAL a.   Mounting   adapter b.   Side   access   cover Set  on  work  surface  with  left  side toward  you. (16) Using  flat  tip  screwdriver,  fully  loosen  ten captive  screws  (15)  securing  side  access cover  (16)  to  power  control  chassis. Remove  and  retain  side  access  cover. c.   Circuit   breaker   CB1   (12) Using  1/2-inch  open-end  wrench,  remove and  retain  hex  nut  (13),  Iockwasher,  ON/ OFF  plate  (14),  and  locking  ring.  Remove CB1  to  allow  access  to  wires. d.   Wires INSTALLATION e.   Wires Using  soldering  kit,  tag  and  desolder wires  from  leads  of  circuit  breaker  CB1 (12).  Discard  circuit  breaker. Using  soldering  kit,  solder  tagged  wires to  leads  of  replacement  circuit  breaker CB1  (12).  Remove  wire  tags. f.                        Circuit    breaker Position  circuit  breaker  in  case  (8)  and CB1 (12) install  retained  locking  ring.  Using  torque wrench  and  1/2-inch  socket,  secure  circuit breaker  to  case  with  retained  ON/OFF plate  (14),  Iockwasher,  and  hex  nut  (13), torque  nut  to  19  to  21  in-lb. See  figure  4-14. See  figure  4-19. These  were  removed  in step  d. Before  and  after  soldering, clean  wires  and  leads  with alcohol  and  cotton  swabs. These  were  removed  in step  c. g.                    Side  access cover  (16) Hold  in  place  and  tighten  ten  captive screws  (15)  securing  side  access  cover (16)  to  power  control  chassis.  Using torque   screwdriver,   torque   screws This  was  removed  in step  b.
