Remove  and  retain. See  figure  4-5. Refer  to  paragraph  4-33  for removal   procedures. Remove  insulation  sleeving  as  required. See  figure  4-10. Using  soldering  kit,  tag  and  desolder wires  from  defective  diode  CR1  (20). Using  cross  tip  screwdriver,  remove and  retain  two  screws  (22),  flat  washers (24),  and  Iockwashers  (23)  securing mounting  bracket  (21)  to  power  control chassis   (17). Using  7/16-inch  open-end  wrench,  remove and  retain  hex  nut  (26)  and  Iockwasher (25)  securing  defective  diode  CR1  (20) to  mounting  bracket  (21).  Remove  and discard  defective  diode  CR1. 4-129
