Remove.
See figure 4-5. Refer to
paragraph 4-19 for access
cover removal procedures.
Using cross tip screwdriver, remove and
retain eight screws (4) and flat washers
(5) securing audio amplifier CCA (6) to
audio amplifier chassis (3).
Using cross tip screwdriver, remove and
retain three screws (7), flat washers, and
cable clamps (8) securing audio amplifier
CCA (6) to audio amplifier chassis (3).
Pull from audio amplifier chassis just

enough to gain access to connectors
P2 and P3 (1 and 2).
Loosen two jackscrews and disconnect
connector P2 (1) or P3 (2) from audio
amplifier CCA connector J2 or J1.
Slide insulation sleeving away from solder
joints. Using soldering kit, tag and desolder
wires from pins on defective connector
P2 or P3 (1 or 2).
Remove and discard defective connector.
