2-75. FRONT PANEL DIAL MASK REPLACEMENT.

MATERIALS/PARTS: Mask, dial (P/N SMC620195)

PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE: Remove frequency selector knobs (para 2-74).

REMOVAL

Using screwdriver, remove six screws (1) and remove dial mask (2).

NOTE

Some control units may use a masking plate (3) to cover the squelch switch TONE

display. Remove if used.

INSTALLATION

NOTE

Some control units may use a masking plate (3) to cover the squelch switch TONE

display. Install behind dials if used as shown in detailed view.

1. Position dial mask (2) on control unit and install six screws (1).

2. Using screwdriver, tighten six screws (1).

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE: Install frequency selector knobs (para 2-74).
