The A1200 tuning circuits provide additional attenuation of unwanted frequencies by the action of their

narrow band pass resonant tanks.

Signals from the first rf amplifier are further amplified by the second rf amplifier which contains

vacuum tube V1301. The tuning circuits function similarly to those in module A1200.
