trol function select switch is set to T/R, it en-
ables selection of transmit-receive operation
(main receiver on). When the function select
switch is set to T/R+G, transmit-receive plus
guard receiver (normally fixed tuned on 243
mc) operation is possible. When the function
select switch is set to ADF, it permits trans-
mit-receive operation (guard receiver off), plus
direction finder operation when adf equipment
is used with the radio set.
