Section XIX. COUPLER INSTALLATION
NOTE
Position coupler mounting plate flush against gas spring bracket.
19-1. Locate, mark, and drill eight 0.281-in. diameter holes (6) in side of wheelhouse (3).
19-2. Cut notch (9) in coupler plate (8) for bump (10) on bottom of wheelhouse (3).
19-3. Install coupler plate (8) on wheelhouse (3) with six capscrews (1A), twelve lockwashers (2),
six spacers (5), and six nuts (4).
19-4. Secure coupler plate (8) to wheelhouse (3) with capscrew (1B), five lockwashers (2), ground strap (7),
spacer (5), and nut (4).
19-5. Secure coupler plate (8) to wheelhouse (3) with capscrew (1C), two lockwashers (2), ground strap (7),
spacer (5), and nut (4).
