Section XIV. SINCGARS ANTENNA INSTALLATION

NOTE

This procedure applies to vehicles without existing antennas. For

vehicles with existing antennas, remove all control cables.

(Refer to TM 9-2320-280-20.)

14-1. Using antenna mounting bracket (3) as template, locate, mark, and drill 1.375-in. diameter hole (2)

in right rear wall (4).

14-2. Locate, mark, and drill three 0.343-in. diameter holes (1) in rear wall (4).

14-3. Remove paint from vicinity of three holes (1) and three matching holes in antenna mounting bracket (3).

14-4. Apply anti-seize compound to vicinity of three holes (1) and rear of antenna mounting bracket (3).
