Section XXI. ANTENNA CABLE INSTALLATION
NOTE
This procedure applies to vehicles without existing antennas. For
vehicles with existing antennas, remove all control cables. (Refer
to TM 9-2320-280-20.)
21-1. Attach antenna cable (15) to antenna base (17).
21-2. Route antenna cable (15) from antenna base (17) with loop clamp (8), existing nut (11),
existing lockwasher (10), existing washer (9) and existing screw (7).
21-3. Route antenna cable (15) along taillight wiring harness with two existing loop clamps (16) and (14),
self-tapping screws (6), and lockwashers (13).
21-4. Route antenna cable (15) along rear (19), intermediate (20), and front (21) cargo bed supports and
along front wheelwell seam (2). Secure with two self-tapping screws (5), loop clamps (3), screw (4),
loop clamp (3), nut (1), and existing self-tapping screw (6) and clamp (18).
21-5. Route antenna cable through right wheelwell/utility area and secure with existing clamp, grommet,
retainer, screws, and plain-assembled nuts. (Refer to TM 9-2320-280-20.)
21-6. Coil excess antenna cable (15) and secure to inside of taillight closeout cover with tiedown
strap (12).
