NOTE
If soft top has been installed, roll back to allow clearance for
routing of antenna cable in steps 21-16 through 21-19.
Lay out all cables in their approximate positions before clamps are
installed. This will minimize cable length, and ensure all slack is
taken out of all cables from front of vehicle to rear.
Excess slack in all cables will be stored under EPLRS mount
assembly.
It may be necessary to drill one 0.281-in. diameter hole in right
side of antenna base bracket for antenna cable clamp.
(Refer to figure 5-83.)
21-15.
Locate, mark, and drill one 0.281-in. diameter hole (40) in left overhead rail (39).
21-16.
Route antenna cable (29) through hole (38) in overcab mount (34) and antenna base bracket (36)
and connect to antenna (35).
21-17.
Install grommet (37) in antenna base bracket (36) and overcab mount (34).
21-18.
Secure antenna cable (29) to left overhead rail (39) and antenna base bracket (36) with two
loop clamps (41), capscrews (33), lockwashers (42), and nuts (43).
21-19.
Route antenna cable (29) down along left overhead rail (39) and secure with loop clamp (41) and
existing screw (44).
21-20.
Route antenna cable (29) to B-beam.
