Section XXVI. PAN AND TILT MODULE (PTM) CONTROL MOUNTING BRACKET INSTALLATION

NOTE

Ensure SINCGARS mounting tray is installed. (Refer to chapter 5,

section VIII.)

26-1. Install PTM upper control mount plate (3a) on SINCGARS mounting tray (6), ensuring clamps (4)

on upper portion of PTM control mount plate (3a) engage lower lip (5) of SINCGARS mounting

tray (5).

26-2. Secure upper portion of PTM control mount plate (3a) to SINCGARS mounting tray (6) with three

screws (2) and washers (1). Do not tighten screws (2).

26-3. Install lower portion of PTM control mount plate (3b) to left leg (10) of radio rack (9) with

clamp (7), two screws (11), four washers (1), and two locknuts (8).

26-4. Secure PTM upper control mount plate (3a) to PTM lower control mount plate (3b) with two

screws (11), four washers (1), and two locknuts (8).

26-5. Tighten all locknuts (8) and screws (2).
