Perform this procedure only if SINCGARS model AN/VRC-92F is to be installed.
8-1. Remove paint from four mounting areas (2) on MT-6353/VRC mounting base (1).
8-2. Remove paint from four mounting holes (4) on standard rack (3).
8-3. Apply antiseize compound to mounting areas (2) on MT-6353/VRC mounting base (1) and to
mounting holes (4) on standard rack (3).
