All module test set controls must be preset
according to the procedure in
paragraph 4-10.

Set METER SCALE switch to the 1.1 v/O dB
position. With the 600 Ω DUMMY LOAD switch
to IN, set the OSCILLATOR LEVEL to 0 dBm.

Set the 20 dB ATTENUATOR switch to IN; the
INPUT SELECTOR switch to RCVR AUDIO; the
OUTPUT SELECTOR switch to LOUDSPEAKER; the
METER SCALE switch to 3.5 v/10 dB. Set the
600 Ω DUMMY LOAD switch to OUT position.

Set the SPEAKER/HEADSET switch on the
selector module to the SPEAKER position.

Turn SPEAKER VOLUME control on volume
