Lamp  holder  (13) wires k. Light  lens  and DS1 lamp l.                  Heat  sink assembly 14-37. REPLACEMENT Tools: OF E1 Flat  tip  screwdriver Torque   screwdriver Flat  tip  bit Torque  wrench Expendable  Supplies: Solder Silicone   compound References: Obtain  replacement  lamp  holder,  hex  nut, and  Iockwasher. Apply  silicone  compound  to  o-ring  on replacement   lamp   holder. Use  9/16  inch  wrench.  Install  and  hand tighten  replacement  hex  nut  and  Iockwasher securing  lamp  holder  to  chassis. Use  torque  wrench.  Torque  to  30  in-lb. Use  soldering  kit,  soldering  aid,  and  heat Before  and  after  soldering, sink.  Solder  wires  to  tagged  terminals  on clean  wires  and  lamp the  lamp  holder,  and  remove  the  tags. holder  terminals  with alcohol  and  cotton  swabs. Install  and  tighten  retained  light  lens  on the  lamp  holder. Install  retained  heat  sink  assembly  on Refer  to  paragraph  14-17 power  supply  adapter  chassis  (1). for  heat  sink  installation. OR  E2  BINDING  POST. Soldering  kit Soldering  aid Heat sink 5/16  inch  wrench Alcohol Cotton  swabs Paragraph  14-17  for  removal  and  installation  of  the  heat  sink  assembly  (8A1). ITEM ACTION REMARKS REMOVAL a. Heat  sink  assembly  (2) Remove  and  retain  heat  sink  assembly Refer  to  paragraph  14-17 from  power  supply  adapter  chassis  (1), for  heat  sink  removal. See  figure  13-2. b.   Power   supply   adapter Set  upside  down  on  work  surface  with chassis  (1) front  toward  you.  See  figure  13-6. 14-57
