Connector  J9  (9) Using  solder  kit,  solder  tagged  wires  to Before  and  after  soldering, correct   pins   of   replacement   connector clean  wires  and  pins  with J9.  Remove  wire  tags.  Slide  insulator  over alcohol  and  cotton  swabs. solder   connections.   Assemble   connector. Apply  silicone  compound  to  connector threads  and  o-ring  before  installation. Install  o-ring  and  connector  in  chassis. Position  retained  protective  cap  retainer (10)  and  replacement  nut  (11)  to  connec- tor.  Using  torque  wrench  and  7/8-inch socket,  torque  nut  to  58  to  62  in-lb. f.   Protective   cap   (12) Install  retained  protective  cap  (12)  on This  was  removed  in connector   J9   (9). step  c. g.
