Cable  tiedown  straps Plastic  clamps  (34),  hex nuts  (28),  flat  washers (29),  and  spacers  (35) SMA  connector  end of RF cable Soldered  end  of RF  cable RF  cable Locate  RF  cable  to  be  removed,  and  re- move  and  discard  cable  tiedown  straps. Use  3/16-inch  nutdriver.  On  the  attenu- ator  (32)  or  the  dummy  load  (33),  re- move  and  retain  the  affected  plastic clamps  (34)  and  mounting  hardware. Using  adjustable  wrench,  unscrew  and disconnect  SMA  connector  of  RF  cable from   attenuator   (32)   or   T-connector   (53), taking  care  to  note  the  position  of  the  RF cable  to  be  removed. Note  position  of  RF  cable.  Using  soldering kit,  desolder  RF  cable  and  cable  shield from  connector  on  chassis  (67). Remove  and  discard  RF  cable  from  chassis (67),  and  note  position  and  routing. INSTALLATION f. g. h. i. j. RF  cable Soldered  end  of RF  cable SMA  connector  end of RF cable Plastic  clamps  (34),  hex nuts  (28),  flat  washers (29),  and  spacers  (35) Cable  tiedown  straps Insert  replacement  RF  cable  in  chassis  (67), and  route  in  previously  noted  position. Using  soldering  kit,  solder  RF  cable  and cable  shield  to  correct  position  and connector. Using  adjustable  wrench,  position  RF  cable and  connect  SMA  connector  of  RF  cable to   attenuator   (32)   or   T-connector   (53). Use  3/16-inch  nutdriver.  On  the  attenuator (32)  or  dummy  load  (33),  reinstall  the  af- fected  plastic  clamps  (34)  and  mounting hardware. Locate  RF  cable  tiedown  areas,  and  install new  tiedown  straps. See  figure  3-12  (sheet  2). Applies  to  RF  cables  W2, W4,  W5,  and  W6. Applies  to  RF  cables  W1, W3,  W8,  W9,  and  W10. Before  and  after  soldering, clean  solder  joints  with cotton  swabs  and  alcohol. These  were  removed  in step  b. 3-102
