2-9. RECEIVER CARRIER SQUELCH SENSITIVITY TEST.

PURPOSE

This test checks the squelch capability when carrier squelch is selected on the control unit. Squelch-

ing and unsquelching in the CARR mode occur at specified voltage levels.

Maintenance Kit MK-1035/ARC-131

Signal Generator AN/URM-103

Signal Generator AN/URM-127

Spectrum Analyzer TS-723A/U

Power Supply PP-2953/U

All cables are part of MK-1035/ARC

Connect equipment as shown in test setup diagram. Turn on all equipment and allow at least 5 minutes

for warmup.
