ORGANIZATIONAL PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES. (CONT)

Periodic PMCS shall be performed once every periodic interval in addition to intermediate PMCS. The

periodic interval will be in accordance with the requirements of DA Pam 738-750. The periodic PMCS

of the radio set shall be scheduled concurrently with the periodic PMCS of the aircraft in which it is in-

stalled to reduce out-of-service time. Refer to applicable aircraft technical manuals for hours be-

tween service periods.

NOTE

Equipment with a deficiency that cannot be remedied at the organizational level should

be forwarded to next higher level of maintenance.

Refer to DA Pam 310-1 for latest listing of applicable publi-

cations and to determine whether new applicable MWO's

have been published. All URGENT MWO's must be applied

immediately. All NORMAL MWO's can be scheduled.

Control Unit

Remove control unit (para 3-11).

Check multiple-pin connector for bent or distorted pins or any

damage or foreign material that would hinder proper mating.

Reinstall control unit (para 3-11).
