Q1501 is a pnp transistor. The overall oscillator design is a modified colpitts configuration. Frequency

tuning by the tuning circuits enables the oscillator to operate within a range of 41.50 to 64,45 MHz,

Q1502 impedance matches the oscillator's output to the input impedance of the Mixer A1400.

BUFFER AMPLIFIER Q1503

Q1503 impedance matches the oscillator's output to the input impedance of the crystal reference

system.
