NOTE
Perform step 17-6 only if not installing cargo soft-top enclosure;
otherwise, skip to step 17-7.
17-6. Install antenna (25) on antenna mount assembly (13) with four capscrews (26), gasket (24), eight
lockwashers (27), and four nuts (28).
NOTE
Perform steps 17-7 through 17-9 only when installing cargo
soft-top enclosure.
17-7. Install cargo soft-top enclosure. (Refer to TM 9-2320-280-10.)
NOTE
Ensure all slack has been taken out of cargo soft-top enclosure and
that cargo soft-top enclosure has been properly installed.
17-8. Using antenna (25) as template, locate, mark, and drill four 0.375-in. holes (33) and cut "X" (34) in
cargo soft-top enclosure (32).
17-9. Install antenna (25) on antenna mount assembly (13) and cargo soft-top enclosure (32) with four
capscrews (26), gasket (24), eight lockwashers (27), and four nuts (28), ensuring that ground strap
(29) is inserted through cut hole (34).
17-10. Install ground strap (29) on antenna mount assembly (13) with screw (31), three lockwashers (30),
and nut (6).
17-11. Tighten all nuts (6) and (28).
17-12. Install left rear side rail, if necessary. (Refer to TM 9-2320-280-20.)
