The AN/VRC-88 is a low power version of the Single Channel Ground and
Frequency: 30 88 MHz
Power: 50 W
Air Radio System (SINCGARS) which utilizes a whip antenna.
SYSTEM HAZARDS
HAZARD CONTROLS (to reduce or eliminate risk)
Power Density Levels (PDL) ....
This system is not able to produce potentially hazardous PDLs in excess of the safety
standard and is not subject to radiation protection control.
RF shock/burn .....................
Observe standard RF shock precautions. Do not touch antenna when energized.

Consult the equipment Technical Manual for other operator and/or maintenance hazards.
