SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The AN/VRC-45 is a vehicular and/or fixed short range FM radio set which utilize
Frequency: 30 - 76 MHz
the RT-246 and/or RT-524 transceiver set. The set utilizes either a vehicular or
shelter-mounted whip antenna, depending on the configuration.
Power: 5 W average; 35 W PEP

This system is not able to produce potentially hazardous PDLs in excess of the safety
standard.
RF shock/burn ....................
Observe standard RF shock precautions. Do not touch antenna when energized.
