Any radio may be used, but in preparing for an RXMT mission, use of RT-D is
recommended.

Use of RT-D on F2 (See Figure 5-21) minimizes the possibility of interfering with net
sync time. Once RXMT operations begin, RT-D must be set to FH-M as shown in Special
Operator Task 6. The best rule to follow is do not transmit in the FH-M position except to send an
ERF and for RT-D during RXMT operations.

If common TEK, FH data, and sync time are being used, an alternate procedure is for
RXMT operator to contact RT-B on a secure FH channel and request RT-B operator to change
to a specified net ID for purpose of RXMT operation.
