3. INSPECT CABLE ASSEMBLY NOT INSTALLED IN RADIO: If the Flexible-Switch Assembly (1A17A1W2)

is not installed, screen the assembly as follows:

a. Place flex-switch assembly as shown in figure 1.

b. Check rotary switch S4 for pin placement and soldered pins. Pins 2, 3 and center should be soldered

with pin 1 located as indicated in Figure 1. If this is correct than the flex-switch assembly is good.
